Our Founder

Joshua Simmons, P.E.

Founder & CEO

Josh Simmons is a licensed Professional Engineer (PE), Project Management Professional (PMP), Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), and AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate. While at BAE Systems, he has served as the Systems Engineering Manager for the design and integration of communications systems aboard new U.S. Navy DDG 51 Arleigh Burke-Class Destroyers as well as U.S. Coast Guard Polar Icebreakers. While at Southern Maryland Electric (SMECO), he was responsible for the design, installation, and maintenance of RF, fiber-optic, and IP networks which supported corporate and ISP networks, Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA), Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI), protective relaying systems, video surveillance, access control, and fleet communications. While at Harris, he was responsible for the design, integration, and deployment of communications systems in EMEA and Asian regions, ranging from tactical to country-wide systems.
